Beginning Thursday, Sept. 25, the playground at Madison Avenue Central Park, 512 E. Madison Ave., will be closed for resurfacing.  

The closure is expected to last three to four weeks, weather permitting, with an estimated completion date of Nov. 3.

“We are working to improve the surface quality and safety of the playground at Madison Avenue Central Park,” said Steve White, Parks Director. “This park sees a high level of traffic and required planned maintenance earlier than anticipated. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work on this resurfacing project.”
