The City is conducting a community survey and the feedback will be used to help inform the Derby City Council how to best invest tax dollars when planning for the next Derby Difference sales tax.

In 2022, the local sales tax brought in over $3 million and helped ease the property tax burden on Derby residents.

A random group of approximately 2,500 residents will receive a paper survey in the mail starting on Jan. 20. Please fill it out and return it at your earliest convenience. 

All community members will have the opportunity to complete the survey as well when an electronic version is made available later. Look for more information on that soon.
