Join the Derby Running Club for the 42nd annual Derby Firecracker Race. Pick between a 4-mile course or 1-mile course looped course through High Park. Cash awards for the fastest runners as well as age group awards..

Derby Historical Museum Open | July 4, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Woodlawn and Market
The museum has something for all ages. Admission is free, donations are welcome.
Fire Station 81 Open House | July 4, 10:30 a.m. to noon
715 E. Madison Ave.
Derby firefighters will have fire trucks on display along with the Fire Safety House following the parade.
Fireworks in the Park | July 4 at 6 p.m. (Fireworks begin at approx. 9:40 p.m.)

Bring a blanket and lawn chair and enjoy a fun evening in Derby at High Park.
- Food trucks include Cheezepanzee, Urban Skillet, Brazita Bites, Funky Monkey Munchies. Kona Ice and Life Gave Me Lemons.
- ADA parking will be available at the Darrell Zimmerman Family Shelter parking lot.
- No personal fireworks or alcohol allowed in the park.
