Derby Dash Public Notice 5310 Application (1/11/2023)
The Derby Dash, Derby’s on-demand public transportation since 2007, provides affordable service within the Derby city limits. It is available to residents of all ages.
Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Rates
$2 for each one-way ride and $4 for a round-trip ride.
A ride card must be purchased to ride the bus. They are available in increments of $4, $10 and $20 and can be purchased at the Senior Center or City Hall (both located at 611 Mulberry), Derby Recreation Commission (801 E. Market St.) and at both Derby Dillons locations.
The Derby Dash service is made possible thanks to a grant from the Kansas Department of Transportation (through the Wichita Transit Authority).
The mission of the Derby Dash is to provide safe, accessible and affordable transportation to all citizens who reside in the city limits of Derby, in order to enhance access to programs, services and activities which will improve their quality of life and help maintain their choice of lifestyle.
