Mark your calendar for Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the fourth annual Spring Into Art event at Madison Avenue Central Park, 512 E. Madison Ave.
“I am excited the community can hold this event after a hiatus in 2020,” said Mayor Randy White. “An outdoor event like this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the park and celebrate the arts.”
The free, family-friendly event will feature art for sale, live music, art kits to go, the Kansas Grown Farmers Market, food trucks and snack options.
A few spots are still available for art vendors. If you’re interested in applying, visit DerbyKS.com/SpringIntoArt.
Entertainment includes:
- Harrison Steele, 11 a.m.
- Makayla Brownlee, 12:30 p.m.
- AJ McCausland Band, 2:30 p.m.
The event will be held rain or shine. Inclement weather will move most activities inside The Venue.
This event is a joint effort of the City of Derby, Derby Recreation Commission, Derby Public Library and Derby Public Schools. For more information, visit DerbyKS.com/SpringIntoArt.
Due to COVID-19, activities requiring close contacts are canceled or altered for social distancing. Masks are required and can be removed when safely distanced from others at this outside event or when eating/drinking.
