As part of the City’s annual pavement rehabilitation program, Woodlawn Blvd. from Meadowlark Blvd. to Madison Ave. will be reconstructed this summer.

The work includes removal of existing pavement and subgrade and replacement with a more stable reinforced crushed concrete base and new asphalt pavement. Work is scheduled to begin in mid-June. Here are changes you can expect:

  • Two-way traffic will generally be maintained from James St. to Meadowlark Blvd., during working hours portions may be restricted to one-way traffic.
  • Traffic on Woodlawn between James St. and Madison Ave. will be one-way northbound.
  • Sections of Woodlawn may be closed completely while valley gutter is replaced at the Walnut St., Wedgewood Dr. and Goeldner Ln. intersections.
  • Intersections will be closed periodically while work is being performed.
  • Driveway access will be maintained.
  • On-street parking will be not be allowed.
  • The goal is to have the street completed before school begins in August.
